NATIONAL HERITAGE DEPARTMENT SYSTEM have acquired a piece of land from the State Government in 3441 Lot mukin flotsam covering 575.854 acres in 1977 and menjai property on 14th March 1983. Laying the foundation stone for the construction of the complex was carried out on 31 May 1979 by the late HRH Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Binti Al Hajjah late Sultan Abdul Aziz as Patron sure. A total of 80 orphans under the care of sure has been moved to a hostel complex after its construction was completed on the 14th of May, 1980. In 1997, a new building (the present) has begun and completed by the end of 1998. Beginning in December 1998, the kids sure have moved into a new dorm.
